Tripp

LazyDaze Blissan Triple Ur Pleasure CD MH WCX CCA VC TDI (12/13/11-1/30/18)

Tripp never lost the enthusiasm and silliness of a puppy and as such was nicknamed  “Baby Tripp” or “BT” for short. When he wanted to play with another dog he would make what we called a kitty face by squinting his eyes and smiling, always careful not to show any teeth to make sure other dogs knew he was friendly.

His impish behavior garnered many laughs like the time in obedience class when I had put him in a down/stay several feet away from another dog. He had made his signature kitty face and when he saw the receptive look from his new friend, Tripp proceeded to army crawl over to the other dog thinking I might not notice. He was still technically laying down but definitely not where I left him! He was hilarious and I often thought of him as a reset button for my mood anytime I was having a bad day.

Tripp lived long enough to see me laugh again and help me stand on my own after my son Kevin’s passing in 2015. He was joy personified and we miss him. He died shortly after turning 6 years old in January of 2018.
